How to install Trios Design Studio

If a Trios Design Studio (TDS) is been requested please follow the next steps in order to install it:

Step 1: Verify that the customer has all required licenses on the dongle, if required please check the following article: Trios Design Studio license required modules

NOTE: If customer does not have licenses but requires a trial this is also possible, please verify with the dongle team and request their assistance adding it. 

Step 2: Verify that the PC is one of our recommended ones and the registration status for the application for the desired country.

Step 3: Go to Partner Portal and download the latest TDS software upgrade

Step 4: Run the installer as administrator and complete the full installation. 

Step 5: Select the language and country and proceed with the modules installation. 

NOTE: Verify that all required modules have status installed.

Step 6: Setup the manufacturing:

A. If the user has TRIOS Design Studio of version higher than 2022.2.6, follow the steps in this article to set-up machine for the manufacturing:

B. If the user has TRIOS Design Studio of version 2022.2.6 or lower due to regional limitations:

Go to More: Settings: CAM: Settings and proceed to install CAM server.

Install it under local CAM server.

After doing so, under installed machine it is possible to install the DME and proceed with the milling machine installation depending on the license that has been enabled on the dongle. 

The DME will determine the materials and indications available to proceed on the order form. 

Finally, After doing all this proceed with enabling manufacturer and machine on the order form settings.

After doing all the steps above the software is ready to be used.
