"Unable to create a screenshot. Please ensure that you use the latest video/OpenGL drivers." when trying to take a screenshot in Dental Designer. 

Screenshot tool is available at any stage of restoration design to captures the Dental Designer window. 

Root Cause: The issue arises due to the use of a non-NVIDIA graphics card or an outdated graphics card driver. 

Affected Versions: All versions. 

Possible Solutions:

  1. Check Graphics Settings
  • Ensure that graphic performance is set to “High”, this will provide better performance but consume more power.
  • To verify this, open Windows Graphics settings > select any 3Shape application > press “Options” > set “High performance” in the pop-up window.

 

       2. Upgrade and Configure NVIDIA Graphics Card

  • If an NVIDIA graphics card is available but not being utilized, configure it for high or maximum performance.
  • Update the graphics card driver to the latest version to ensure compatibility and optimal performance (download link - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/)

3. Ensure Proper Connection (For Desktop Users)

  • If using a desktop PC, verify that the monitor cable is plugged into the NVIDIA port rather than the integrated graphics port.
