Customizing the Order ID in Dental System
Configuring the Order ID Format
Step 1: Open "Dental System Control Panel".
Step 2: Select "System Settings".
Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Open "Order Form Settings".
Step 5: Navigate to the "Define Template for Order-ID Generation" section.
Step 6: Select the required sequence of naming templates.
Available Naming Templates
The following templates can be used when creating an order ID:
- Site ID
- Date
- Time
- Operator
- Dentist
- Patient Last Name
- Patient First Name
- Patient Reference
- Random Number
- External Order ID
- Consecutive Number
- Fixed String
The "Unspecified" field indicates that a naming template is inactive and is not included in the generated order ID.
A customized order ID is applied only to newly created or newly accepted orders. Existing orders retain their original order IDs. If you create a copy of an existing order, the copied order is assigned a new order ID based on the current template configuration.
