"CAM output could not be generated. Manufacturing process method is not defined for the order" when generating CAM output in Dental Manager

Error when generating CAM output in Dental Manager

When trying to generate CAM output in Dental Manager, there may be an error message “CAM output could not be generated. Manufacturing process method is not defined for the order [order_ID]. You can set the manufacturing process method in Control Panel > manufacturing process”

Affected Dental System version: any version.

Selected manufacturing type: external.

Root cause: manufacturing process method (CADOutput .dll file) is not chosen for the manufacturing process Dental System Control Panel > Manufacturing process.

Solution:

1. Go to Dental System Control Panel > Manufacturing process;
2. Locate the selected manufacturing process;
3. Click 'Select' for Manufacturing process method and choose any of the available CAD output options.
