AI Tooth Removal

With AI Tooth Removal, you can remove a tooth during the planning workflow with a single click. Instead of manually outlining the tooth with multiple clicks, Implant Studio uses AI-powered tooth removal to simplify the process.

This can help you:

  • Reduce the number of manual steps.
  • Make tooth removal easier for both new and experienced users.
  • Reduce variation caused by manually outlining the tooth.

The feature can be particularly useful when working with a high volume of cases where planning speed and efficiency are important.

Implant Studio Setup Wizard

Implant Studio 2026.2 introduces a Setup Wizard to make the initial setup easier for first-time users.

The wizard guides you through the required setup steps, including:

  • Configuring implant libraries.
  • Selecting a printer.
  • Completing the initial Implant Studio setup.

Other Improvements

Multi-unit abutment angle measurement

  • You can now measure angles between multi-unit abutments in Implant Studio.

  • An angle name property has also been added to abutment libraries.

Implant library improvements

  • Implant Studio 2026.2 includes improvements to the implant library experience.

Automatic implant library updates

  • This makes the latest installed library updates available when you start working on a case.

Uninstall implant libraries

  • You can now uninstall implant libraries when they are no longer needed.
