How to proceed with uploading the customer's backup in the replacement cases.
All customers' backups should be stored only in the SharePoint space.
Once the customer's backup is prepared, the Service Team will upload it to the SharePoint and notify the responsible support agent of the case. The service specialist adds a note on the hardware ticket that the backup is ready and clicks ‘Notify Support’. An additional follow-up message can be sent to the support agent via Teams.

The backup folder will include the specific case number “CAS-***” and stored in the folder "Customer Data migration".
The support agent needs to log in to the SharePoint space and find the folder "Customer Data migration".
If there is no access to the Customer Data migration folder, access via SharePoint space should be requested.

The support agent needs to find the necessary case folder and share it with the customer.
The agent mentions the customer's email, grants editing permission and adds a message:
'Kindly upload the files within 20 days. Please note that they will be automatically deleted after this period.'

- Log into for External Data Transfer.

- Create a folder for data transfer using the case number as a folder name. Note - the folder will be automatically deleted in 7 days

- Send an invitation to the Customer's email using “Share” option after highlighting the folder. Make sure the user "Can edit"


- Access the folder on Customer's PC using the link and password from the invitation

- Upload data to into a folder using one of the two options - "Upload Files" or "Upload Folders".

- For downloading authenticate on a target computer following the abovementioned steps, click on the "Download" button and choose location for saving the files.
