Viewing and Managing DS Core Cases in LMS

If your lab is receiving cases from DS Core in 3Shape Dental System or Trios Inbox, the cases will also populate in the LMS Case Inbox!
Note: The DS Core integration must be enabled in Communicate (Trios Inbox) before cases will be visible in LMS. To learn how to integrate DS Core with Communicate (Trios Inbox), click here. If you are having issues with the DS Core/ Communicate integration, you need to contact 3Shape lab support (or you might be directed to contact Sirona for help). Unfortunately, the LMS team cannot assist with this process.
Go to Case Flow > Case Inbox

- Cases are listed beginning with the most recently created at the top. The “Source” column shows the IOS platform where the case was created. The “Requested date” is the date your client would like the case delivered.

- To ignore cases, select the checkbox(es) click “Ignore”

- From the “IGNORED” tab, you can reactivate cases you previously ignored by selecting the checkbox(es) and clicking “RESTORE”

- Click the arrow > to preview the case

- The patient name & any comments from the doctor are automatically synced in the case entry. You can also:
- Preview the scans--make them full page, manipulate the view, view one arch at a time
- Preview the Sirona Order form
- Verify your due date meets the doctor's expectations
- Make any edits necessary
- Accept or Decline the case; by clicking “ACCEPT & CREATE” the case is created in LMS

- Use the order form to complete the case entry information

- If you ACCEPT & CREATE the case in LMS, it's also accepted in DS Core and Communicate (Trios Inbox)
