Step 1: Choose how you would like to send the case to Straumann UN!Q

There are three options for submitting a case:

  • Send the case directly to Smile in a Box:
Access the Store in 3Shape Unite and connect to the Smile in a Box service lab in your region. When creating your Full-Arch Straumann EXACT case, select the Smile in a Box lab and complete the order form as described in the next step.
  • Send the case to your preferred lab:
When creating your Full-Arch Straumann EXACT case in Unite, select your preferred lab and complete the order form as described in the next step.
  • Upload the case directly via Straumann AXS:
You can upload a TRIOS case directly to the UN!Q service through the Straumann AXS platform by connecting to your Communicate account on the AXS webpage. Please refer to Step 11 and onward for detailed instructions.

Step 2: You can activate the Straumann EXACT Full-Arch workflow by ordering a case in the left-hand menu, then select the jaw, teeth and their corresponding implants, materials, and shade as shown on the images below.

Select “All-on-x” in the menu                                         Select the teeth and their corresponding implants, materials, and shade.

Step 3: Once you save your order form and move to the next step, you can select the Straumann EXACT Full-Arch workflow for a dedicated scan protocol. The workflow will require the following steps to complete.

Step 4: Scan the lower jaw following the usual scan strategy shown in the top left corner.

Step 5: Scan the temporary prosthesis in the upper jaw.

Step 6: With the temporary prosthesis in the mouth, scan the bite using the standard approach.

Step 7: Proceed to the 360° upper jaw scan. The trim tool will open automatically. Trim away natural soft tissue and leave only the provisional. Scan the temporary prostheses 360°.

Step 8: Scan the EXACT links in the upper jaw.

Step 9: The trim tool will open automatically on the emergence profile scan step. Trim away the EXACT links and scan the emergence profile.

Step 10: Manually align the 360° scan of the upper jaw provisional and the upper jaw emergence profile by placing the 3 dots on the abutments. Continue to the Analyze Page to inspect and post-process scans.
