Resolving "License Not Detected" for 3Shape ScanIt Dental or Splint Studio in Dental System 2023 and Later
The following warning may appear when launching an integrated application, such as ScanIt Dental or Splint Studio, from Dental System:
"License not detected. No license registered for the program you are trying to launch. Please contact support to resolve the issue."

Cause
This issue affects integrated mode applications that are installed through 3Shape Unite and launched from Dental System.
Although the warning refers to a missing license, it does not necessarily indicate a licensing problem. It may also occur if:
- 3Shape Unite is not installed.
- The required application (for example, ScanIt Dental or Splint Studio) is not installed.
- The integrated application is not responding.
Resolution
Step 1: Verify that 3Shape Unite is installed and up to date.
Step 2: Ensure the required integrated application (for example, ScanIt Dental or Splint Studio) is installed in 3Shape Unite.

Step 3: Restart Dental System.
Step 4: Launch the affected application again and verify whether the issue has been resolved.
If the Issue Persists
If the warning still appears:
- Verify that firewall settings are not blocking communication between Dental System and 3Shape Unite.
- Verify that the required Dental System folders have the correct permissions.
